Fairkin started as a weekend project: could you generate a decent product ad from just a URL, with nothing running in the cloud? No OpenAI, no ElevenLabs, no proprietary rendering farm.
It turned out you could — as long as you were willing to compose the whole pipeline yourself: Playwright to crawl, Ollama to write, Silero to voice, ffmpeg to compose. Weeks of iteration later, the output started to look and sound like something you'd actually want to publish.
The name is a nod to the philosophy. Fair — we split value with the people who use the tool, not the middlemen. Kin — the people whose products we help launch are the ones we're building for. That's it. Small idea, sharp focus.
